The Well Dressed Band swelled in numbers as the train proceeded
along the Hope Valley and, of course, the opposite happened
on the return journey! But the quality didn't diminish.

The band has a bit of elbow room as we leave Sheffield. Dave on conertina.	Steph on whistle, Gill on accordion.	Rachel on melodeon.	We picked up Caroline - flute - at Dore.
Most of the band was present by Hathersage where we picked up Steve with his double bass.	A song from fiddle-player Jerry, in The Rambler.	*	Dave Ball on fiddle.

Caroline introduces her song on flute.	*	Steve puts down his bass for a song about Derbyshire.	A happy audience on the way back to Sheffield.
Lennie on mandolin.	The parents of Kathy's partner Helmut. He had never been to England before, so what did he think of English trains and pubs?	Dancing in the aisle!
